CWL is continually aiming to improve awareness and practice through an ongoing improvement program, which includes a number of initiatives to achieve safety targets and goals;
To adopt accident data as a Key Performance Indicator
To reduce the lost time accident frequency rate, year on year
To undertake regular safety inspections
To develop together a Health & Safety Policy that is translated into action
CWL's policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all our employees and to provide such information, training and supervision required for this purpose. CWL accepts our responsibility for the health & safety of other people, including contractors and the public, who may be affected by our activities. We are committed to operate within legal requirements and following Good Practice as per the guidance given in the HSE publication HSG65.
