Wire is present throughout the kitchen. The baskets that store food in the refrigerator, and the condensing wire that helps provide the essential cold temperature, the trays that hold dishes in the dishwasher and the shelves in the oven and much more, all depend on wire.
The hose on the vacuum cleaner and extractor system in the oven need wire to provide strength and support. And the fasteners that hold these vital appliances together are originally produced from wire. So too are the springs in switches and knobs that control or balance various functions such as light switches.
